Ready to go back with the club to Costa Rica? Or do you want to experience this Eco-Friendly Conservation & Resort for the first time? Last year's trip went so well that so many people are asking we go back. Whether it was the wild horses, monkeys, lizards, toucans, or parrots we saw around the resort, or the cultural immersions we experienced during each Costa Rican excursion, this is truly one of our clubs favorite pickleball vacations. Better yet, we're now excited to unveil this year's new itinerary where we're keeping all of the best rated excursions, adding additional highly recommended experiences, and including an extra day for you to either kick back at the resort or go explore Costa Rica exactly the way you want.

DAY 01
Arrival & Welcome Dinner
Get settled in, explore the beautiful Tilaraji resort, and then gather for our welcome dinner to meet the group and review the week.

DAY 02
Pickleball and Coffee & Chocolate Experience
Discover the entire coffee-making process from bean to cup and learn about chocolate production. Create your own chocolate bar and taste a variety of chocolates.
Wake up to a pickleball clinic and round-robin in the jungle. On your walk to the courts, the resort offers sights of wild horses, monkeys, toucans, and so much more wildlife. In the afternoon, discover the entire coffee-making process from bean to cup and learn about chocolate production. Create your own chocolate bar and taste a variety of chocolates.
DAY 03
Arenal 1968 Hike, Explore La Fortuna, & Pickleball
Embark on a scenic hike to the 1968 viewpoint for panoramic views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. Explore lush trails and enjoy the beauty of this natural setting.
After breakfast at Tilajari, a private guide takes us on a hike to the 1968 eruption site for a panoramic view of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. Afterwards, explore the local town of La Fortuna before ending the day with personalized pickleball clinics and play sessions.
DAY 04
Free/Open Day
Hangout at the resort pool, hot tub, wildlife area, and pickleball courts, book an experience/excursion of your choosing, order off the 3-course menu at the restaurant for lunch and dinner, or sign up for the on-site Costa Rican cooking class.
DAY 05
Safari Float & Pickleball
Enjoy a peaceful river float on an inflatable raft, perfect for spotting wildlife and taking in the scenic views. Halfway through the journey, you'll stop to visit a traditional Costa Rican family, where you can learn about rustic customs and traditions that reflect the roots of our culture.

Pickleball, More Pickleball, & Farewell Dinner
DAY 06
Enjoy the resort for one more day while playing two round-robins with the coaches. One in the morning, and one in the afternoon. We'll end the day with a Farewell BBQ Grill and Buffett Dinner.

Departure & Transfer

What skill levels is this trip suitable for?
Because of the way we structure clinics, we're able to personalize the instruction to each skill level. Whether your a beginner (2.5+) to advanced player (4.5+), our expert coaches ensure everyone receives personalized and effective instruction.
What should I pack for the pickleball vacation?
Please bring your own paddle, court shoes, and appropriate athletic attire. We provide high-quality balls for all clinics and organized play. If you need equipment recommendations, our coaches are happy to assist before the trip.
How do travel logistics work for Costa Rica?
You should fly into the San Jose airport (SJO) on May 1st and fly out on May 7th. We recommend arriving in the morning or afternoon so that you can attend the welcome dinner in the evening!
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
121 days or more from the date of trip: 50% refund of the initial deposit
91 - 120 days from date of trip: Loss of initial deposit
61 - 90 days from date of trip: 50% refund of the total amount paid
60 days or fewer days from the date of the trip: No refund
Is airfare included in the trip price?
Airfare is not included, allowing you the flexibility to use miles or choose your preferred carrier.
Can non-pickleball playing partners join?
Absolutely! We offer a 'Social Partner' rate for those who want to enjoy the luxury resort, excursions, and group meals without participating in the pickleball clinics. There is plenty of relaxation to be had at the jungle spa. Please reach out to us!
